Additional information

A former aerospace design engineer, Sansone brings his unique perspective to the subjects of warfare, violence, media, and culture. His work examines the imagery we surround ourselves with, from monuments to video games, and how we’ve inured ourselves to its represented reality. His visually stunning sculptures call attention to the dangers and peculiarities of living in a society that profits and thrives on violence and bloodshed.

He is best known for his room-filling installations that transform spaces into immersive experiences and repetitive cast objects that combine to create an industrial mass-produced sensibility to his sculpture.
