Artist Statement

I am interested in color, form and texture which are showcased in my artwork whether photography-based or digitally created. Recently, I have been mirroring my images which often results in the emergence of new entities; in this case, a 500 pound gorilla.

In these times of political polarity, there often are opinions that go unsaid in a “polite gathering.” Yet, all are aware of the 500 pound gorilla in the room. The gorilla could also be symbolic of the bullying that is happening in our society today. It’s up to you to decide what he represents.
